Christopher Kinsey earned a B.F.A. in contemporary dance performance with an emphasis in creating performance from Boston conservatory. He has danced for Madboots dance and Ppfalztheater-Kaiserslautern (Germany), and is currently dancing for Gallim Dance Company/Andrea Miller. As an educator, Christopher has taught classes both domestically and in Europe. Since founding pavement dance, Kinsey’s work has performed at Angel Orensanz Foundation (2020), the Boston conservatory (commission, 2020), the Joyce Theater (2019), triskelion arts (2019), Brooklyn navy yard (2018), Boston contemporary dance festival (2017), institute of contemporary art, Boston (2017), and the choreographers canvas in NYC (2014). In addition to creating work with Maggie Costales for pavement dance, Christopher Kinsey is also an artistic director for the NYC-based youth company, z artists group. Pavementdance.com
