Krystyna Resavy

Krystyna2017Krystyna Resavy is a New Jersey based choreographer, performer, and dance educator. She began choreographing at the age of 16 and has an extensive background in theater, jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. Most recently, she just finished shooting “Isn’t It Romantic” starring Rebel Wilson. This past July, Krystyna’s choreography won the National Junior Critics’ Choice Award at Onstage New York, a competition under the artistic direction of Joe Lanteri. In 2016 Krystyna was named the American Dance Award’s National Young Choreographer of the Year. Krystyna choreographed Samsung’s launch event, “Move With Galaxy” featuring Diplo and Gwen Stefani. Her work was hand chosen multiple times by artist Jared Grimes to compete in Broadway Underground’s event, “Run The Night”, at the legendary Highline Ballroom. Krystyna’s work can additionally be seen in Broadway Dance Center’s Summer and Spring Professional Semester showcases. She is currently on faculty at the King Centre for the Performing Arts under the artistic direction of Nancy King. Krystyna’s work has been recognized time and time again, winning over ten choreography awards in the past two years. Four of these awards include New York City Dance Alliance’s Critics’ Choice award. She will be graduating this December from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and a minor in Business Studies
