Lynn-Marie Peare is excited to be teaching at The King Centre for her second consecutive year. As the owner and director of her own dance studio for twenty eight years, she has taught many dancers who have gone on to teach dance, perform and study at the university level, perform on Broadway, in movies, on cruise ships, and abroad.
After beginning dance lessons at two and a half in her local studio, at age fifteen she ventured into NYC and studied at ABT, and with David Howard, Doug Wassel, and Luigi, among others. At twenty she had the opportunity and desire to open her own dance studio. This was no surprise as at age twelve she used to gather up the neighborhood kids and give them lessons in her garage or basement.
Lynn then became a member of Dance Educators of America and completed their masters certification program. She has always looked for ways to further her ongoing education such as performing in community theatre, choreographing and directing plays and musicals, and attending workshops, seminars, conventions, and weekly dance classes in NYC.
Included in her latest endeavors is being an ambassador for Autism New Jersey, and as an advocate, devoted to spreading awareness and encouraging acceptance of people with autism and special needs in the mainstream community.
Lynn is happily celebrating twenty years of marriage to her wonderful husband, Stuart. For the past fourteen years they’ve had the privilege of raising their beautiful son, Ben.
