Maddie Smith is a driven, multi-talented performer whose work spans Broadway, national tours, film, television, and digital media. She began her career at age 8 under the direction of Julie Taymor in the Off-Broadway production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, portraying both a Rude Elemental and Peaseblossom, roles featured in the production's theatrical film adaptation.
On Broadway, Maddie was cast in Matilda the Musical as a swing, covering four principal roles: Lavender, Amanda, Eric, and Alice. Before her Broadway debut she toured nationally with the production across the U.S. and Canada.
Her on-screen credits include the feature films The Greatest Showman and Clifford the Big Red Dog, and a guest role on CBS's Blue Bloods. She has appeared in national commercials for Nickelodeon, Golden Corral, and The Ladybug Game, and performed the National Anthem with the cast of Matilda at a New York Giants game. She is truly dedicated to her craft and loves sharing that love and passion with others.
