KCK Kinder Dance Program

“King Centre Kidz” is an extension of the King Centre for the Performing Arts. “King Centre Kidz” primary mission is to educate and share the love of the performing arts by expanding the program to local daycares and nursery schools. The program began spreading the joys of dance and the performing arts to daycares and nursery schools in 2007. The program is under Miss Jessica Longo’s direction, a veteran teacher with over 20 years of experience. Over the years, our program has been taught successfully in many different locations within Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Essex counties in NJ and Rockland and Orange counties in NY.

In this program, students have the chance to become involved in one of the Nation’s most respected programs in the familiar setting of their own pre-school or daycare. The “King Centre Kidz” program offers natural, safe, healthy, easy FUN play and proper development of body alignment. Movement in a creative dance setting provides an essential educational experience. Through movement, songs, games, and rhythms, children not only flex their muscles as they gain strength and endurance, but they challenge themselves emotionally and cognitively, as well.

Benefits of the Program:

  • Learn Creative Dance, Rhythm & Music
  • Creative Development
  • Fun & Engaging Workouts
  • Enhance Social Skills
  • Improve Self-Confidence
  • A Nationally Recognized Program

“King Centre Kidz” meets once per week. We offer two sessions during the year, each session includes 12 classes plus the Demo and Performance. The children will learn creative dance, rhythm, and music. Your child will have the opportunity to perform twice per year, once during the holidays and again in the spring either from the comfort of their school or our famous KC Black Box Theatre in Wanaque, NJ. We provide all the themed costume pieces, accessories, and props used in each performance.
