Donald Westcott has been a music teacher for over 30 years. He is an accomplished vocalist and trumpet player and is currently the choral director at Palisades Park, where he has been teaching for the past 27 years. He holds a BA in music education and a MA in education.
Over the years he has coached many of his students in successfully auditioning into Bergen County Chorus, Regional Chorus and New Jersey All-State Chorus.
Besides his choral duties Donald has been director, musical director and played trumpet in pit orchestras for many high school productions including Guys and Dolls, Godspell, Chorus Line, The Wizard of Oz, and the Music Man to name a few.
Don currently teachers voice, piano, and trumpet lessons at the King Centre. Don is also one of the founding members of the 2018 King Centre Dancing Dads!
